And how the does the manner in which the finished jewellery product is designed, crafted and marketed affect whether its perceived as “precious” or not?

Panellists include Adriano Mol, Head, Center for Gemstone and Jewelry Design, University of Minas Gerais State / Brand & Product Development, Cruzeiro Mine, both in Brazil; Kenneth Scarratt, Vice President, CIBJO/President, CIBJO Sector A (gem materials); Raluca Anghel, Head of External Affairs and Industry Relations, Natural Diamond Council; Paola De Luca, Founder & Creative Director, The Futurist Ltd.; and Francesca Manfredi, Head of Sustainable Innovation Watches & Jewellery, Kering.
