{"id":12923,"date":"2013-11-13T11:11:18","date_gmt":"2013-11-13T11:11:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cibjo.org\/new\/?p=12923"},"modified":"2017-12-07T11:56:55","modified_gmt":"2017-12-07T11:56:55","slug":"borsa-diamanti-ditalia-honours-cibjo-president","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cibjo.org\/rstoolkit\/borsa-diamanti-ditalia-honours-cibjo-president\/","title":{"rendered":"Borsa Diamanti d&#8217;Italia honours CIBJO President"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Borsa Diamanti d&#8217;Italia, Italy\u2019s only diamond exchange, has honoured the CIBJO President, Dr. Gaetano Cavalieri, bestowing upon him honorary life membership at a ceremony conducted at the bourses\u2019 headquarters in Milan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cibjo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/borsait2.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12925\"><img class=\"size-full wp-image-12925 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cibjo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/borsait2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"260\" height=\"178\" \/><\/a>Founded in 1926, Borsa Diamanti d&#8217;Italia is one of the world\u2019s older diamond exchanges, gathering under its roof diamond and coloured gemstone traders, as well as representatives of the Italian jewellery industry. It has been a member of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses since 1954.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIt is our privilege to be able to honour Dr. Cavalieri, who is both a friend and a role model for our industry,\u201d said Moussa Sians, President of the Borsa Diamanti d&#8217;Italia. \u201cThe wellbeing of the diamond and gemstone business is greatly dependent upon the health and strength of the jewellery business, and consequently we strongly support the role played by CIBJO both in Italy and internationally.
