Official Launch of International Fine Jewellery Academy

The International Fine Jewellery Academy will be a new educational institute based in Milan, Italy, catering to the requirements of jewellery industry and providing sources to students from around the world. It is being created as a partnership involving CIBJO, ConfCommercio, Italy’s largest trade association, which is active in 155 different sectors; Foundation Mani Inteligenti, a body based in Valenza whose mission is to train the next generation of goldsmiths, and CAPAC – Politecnico del Commercio e del Turismo. a non-profit foundation that has been operating in the professional training sector since 1961.As part of the venture, CAPAC will provide the International Fine Jewellery Academy physical facilities in the centre of Milan where courses will take place.
The seminar, which took place on September 6, 2025, in the Palladio Theatre in Vicenza, Italy, during the VICENZAORO jewellery show, served as a public introduction of the International Fine Jewellery Academy. It was moderated by Steven Benson, CIBJO Communications Director. Panellists included Gaetano Cavalieri, CIBJO President; Marie-Claire Daveu, Chief Sustainability and Institutional Affairs Officer, Kering; Alessia Crivelli, Chair, Foundation Mani Inteligenti; Umberto Bellini, President, Asseprim/Vice President, Confcommercio Milano; Simonpaolo Buongiardino, President, CAPAC; and Gabriele Cartasegna, Director, CAPAC.
