Leveraging technology to drive sustainability and traceability
in jewellery retail operations

With the cooperation of Brandart, a global service company that helps lower the environmental impact of jewellery retail operations, and in particular those involving packaging and visual merchandising, the seminar looked at how technology can be used in the jewellery industry to enable sustainability, end-to-end supply‑chain traceability and transparency. It took place on September 7, 2025, in the Educational Hub at the VICENZAORO jewellery show in Vicenza, Italy.
From traceability, it will transitioned to circularity, looking at recovering manufacturing waste and lowering the carbon footprint through innovative recycled materials. A spotlight was dedicated to advanced materials for premium packaging and visual merchandising.
The seminar was moderated by Francesca Bergamaschi, Global Corporate & Supplier Compliance, Sustainability & Excellence Manager, Brandart. Panellist included Carlotto Braggion, Marketing and Communications Manager at Brandart; Mihaela Macnovit, Director of Operations at Coronet SpA; and Fernando Maria Hernández Franco, Sustainability Director at Temera.
