Founded in Tokyo in 1964, the Kuwayama Corporation is today the integrated jewellery manufacturer with the largest market share in Japan. With manufacturing facilities in Japan, China and Thailand, the company’s product range includes chains, rings, cast products and other jewellery components, including pearls and diamonds. Kuwayama also manufactures customized products for a number of jewellery brands, both Japanese and foreign, utilizing its own technologies and global production system.

“We are delighted to welcome the Kuwayama Corporation into the World Jewellery Confederation,” said CIBJO President Gaetano Cavalieri. “As a major player in the world’s third largest jewellery market, and with a legacy of meeting the very highest standards of production, craftsmanship and transparency demanded by the Japanese consumer, we are most pleased that the international jewellery family will now be able to benefit from its knowledge and expertise.”
